Modular structure of further training ranging from Quality Systems Manager Junior to managers in different fields of activities
There are two career paths to become an expert or manager responsible for different tasks in intercompany quality, risk and crisis management. Often it is the training as Quality Systems Manager Junior during the time of academic studies that creates the prerequisite for further qualification while working in enterprises in the agri-food sector. In addition, people who have completed the mastership examination or similar practical vocational training can also embark on a career in management. The modular structure makes it easy to collect credit points during a professional activity in order to register for an examination as a prerequisite for a personal certificate.
Individual courses and seminar series seek to teach competences in a clearly specified field of activity in the industry. They teach knowledge, methods and operational as well as practical implementation while focusing on the application of the individual participant in his/her working environment. Each course is thematically self-contained. Completed courses can be credited for further training courses.

The additional academic training for Quality Systems Manager Junior is usually distributed over the entire Master’s program. A period of half a year is planned for the practical implementation of a topic that has relevance for quality management or the preparation of an experimental Master’s thesis. The obligatory lecture modules have a duration of six hours per week during the semester. These modules belong in any case to the curriculum of the respective university and therefore are not considered to be an additional time burden to the students.
Seminars and refresher courses
In-depth seminars on current topics, refresher courses and special e-learning courses complete the training program. Seminars bring existing knowledge up to date and address new topics. The portfolio covers the whole EQA education program and its contents. It is intended for managers who seek to acquire knowledge on a specific topic in a compact form and who want to exchange experiences. Refresher courses enables knowledge, methods and competences to be updated and supplemented.
