At the General Meeting 2022, the EQA Supervisory Board and Board of Directors presented the annual financial statements of the previous year as well as the successes of the cooperation in projects and initiatives. The portfolio includes collaborative projects for value creation partnerships of the agricultural industry in the field of digitalization. The three digital accelerators ChainPoint, EITCO and Quantum Quality with their web-based cloud platforms and expertise in system development form the foundation for a growing range of knowledge-intensive services from EQA. In the past year, the European cooperative has not only proven to be a sought-after sparring partner for farms in their digital transformation. In the transfer of knowledge in the transformation of livestock farming, EQA also plays an influential role as a network coordinator with decision-makers for the funding of corresponding support measures.
The Management Board and Supervisory Board are therefore confident that the right course has been set for 2021. At the beginning of the year, Europe’s first farm-centric platform cooperative was presented to professionals of the sector. Now, the aim is to launch it quickly on the market. This is to be achieved by means of a targeted campaign starting in the 3rd quarter and participation in EuroTier and other trade shows. The Chairwoman of the Board of Management therefore calls on all cooperative members to take an active part in the campaign. The key is in the strong voluntary commitment of each individual member, for a high visibility of the EQA brand and the inclusion of further investing members of the platform cooperative.
