Dr. Juliane O’Hagan has been honorary vice chair of the board and member of EQAsce since February 2019. She studied nutritional sciences at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn and developed a model for joint, cross-stage risk-oriented audit strategies in quality and risk management of companies in the agricultural and food industry in her PhD in nutritional and agricultural sciences. During her studies she gained further qualifications in the field of quality management and food safety and obtained the certificate “DGQ Quality Systems Manager Junior”. In this field she worked for more than four years in South Africa as a consultant.
Afterwards, Dr. O’Hagan entered the field of digitalization of management tasks in the agri-food industry and has been an employee at EQA founding member ChainPoint in the field of project management since 2018. On the board of EQA, she is responsible for controlling and further development of business networks.
