With regard to current discussions about blockchain-based solutions for saving of sensitive personal data, EQAsce works together with ICT experts and start ups of the Bonn region for over a year now. Together with Quantum Quality GmbH, EQAsce succeeded in bundling branch-specific knowhow and bringing together three players in the region: These are the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Information Technology FIT, enterprise Ubirch and the public cooperative GovDigital. As press releases of the past days have shown, EQAsce has chosen the right partners for cooperation.
Ubirch – a partner of the public cooperative GovDigital – has been awarded the contract for a broad introduction of digital and tamper-proof proofs of vaccination and health certificates for all over Germany by the Federal Ministry of Health. EQAsce and Ubirch are working on implementing an interface for health certificates in the Digital Cards for people working in system relevant fields of the agri and food sector. The Digital Cards will be a digital portfolio of certificates and degrees of a lifelong learning that are saved in a DigiCert blockchain run by Fit and that are temper-proof, all-time available and verified.
This way, EQAsce supports the transformation processes in the area Rheinisches Revier by involving digital strategies. This process has just begun and lays a focus on establishing the structures needed.
Last week, the Federal Ministry for Research and Education has given the notice of funding to professor Prinz (Fit) for starting a “blockchain-lab” at Hürth. Here, the focus will be on blockchain technology for innovation and education. Thus, EQAsce can expect a push for innovation for its latest developments in crises management systems for value added chains in the agri and food sector in the upcoming months already.
