Enterprise AnimaRes from Bonn is working together with EQAsce for over a year now. AnimaRes develops and programs augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) software for medical education. “We want to change the way of learning by using latest technologies: The more passive you learn the faster you forget it, the more active you participate in something the better is information anchored” said managing director Pablo Olmos in an interview with the Rheinische Post newspaper.
This approach is what EQAsce and AnimaRes transferred livestock and veterinary topics. In these fields, student shall learn about the inner systems of the living beings before doing medical interventions on living animals. Unnecessary pain and stress is kept away from the animals. All results in the field of human medicine that AnimaRes developed in cooperation with the University Clinic of Bonn are presented in the “Insight”-series on the website of AnimaRes.
