On the last day of lectures during the winter semester 2019/2020 at the University of Bonn, students of nutrition technology, human nutrition, animal sciences, crop plant sciences and agricultural & food economics received their EQA junior membership card from Prof. Dr. Petersen. At the beginning of the semester, those students agreed to contribute actively to the development of the Digital Academic Career Card as part of the pilot phase within the project “Q-VIREA”. The precursor of this digital card is now the membership card: It shall be the starting point for the lifelong learning concept that includes the saving of all degrees, trainings, certificates and expertise for a professional lifetime. The card shows the name and a number as members of the project. This data will be access to data bases where qualifications of any kind will be saved, called off, displayed and verified.
The last lecture of quality management in the agri and food economy in winter semester 19/20 has also been the very last lecture of Prof. Dr. Petersen. She will stay connected with the University of Bonn via her transdisciplinary networks but will concentrate more on the currently running projects of EQAsce.
