The lately published book “quality management in the food industry” (published only in German language) is supported by the worldwide acting University Network TUNEQA through its education program for qualification of students in the agri and food sciences. Prof. Dr. Emma Maldonado from the Universidad Autonoma Chapingo, Mexico, is on a stay in Germany and jointly coordinates multi-language e-learning-programs with the head of the EQA-board Prof. Dr. Brigitte Petersen and Prof. Dr. Judith Kreyenschmidt. In a meeting they discussed the pilot-project of introducing a “Digital Academic Career Card”. Prof. Dr. Maldonado explained the challenges of harmonizing and recognize qualifications and degrees worldwide. The book is written in German but it is the first branch-specific refence book for a cumulative knowledge of quality management. Prof. Dr. Maldonado will take it with her for her students at Mexico.
